We are thrilled to share some fantastic news from this year’s Ambassador Awards Evening, hosted by the Prague Convention Bureau in the stunning Mayor’s Residence. The event, a celebration of individuals who significantly contribute to Prague’s position as a world-class congress destination, once again brought together key figures from the meetings industry.

🏆 We’re proud to announce that two of our nominees received prestigious recognition for their exceptional contributions!

Congress of the Year 2024
Jacky Schweinzger, CMP
Honored for organizing the 44th Annual Meeting of the Scientific Council of the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT) – a major event that significantly contributed to Prague’s visibility in the global medical congress arena.

Long-Term Contribution to the Industry
Prof. Ondřej Viklický
Recognized for his lifelong dedication and achievements as Head of the Transplant Center, Nephrology Clinic, and Transplant Lab at the Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine (IKEM).

Receiving these honors from Mayor Bohuslav Svoboda and Minister for Regional Development Petr Kulhánek made the evening truly special.

👏 A huge congratulations to all the awardees, and heartfelt thanks to the Prague Convention Bureau for their outstanding efforts in promoting Prague as a premier destination for international meetings and congresses.
