September was an incredibly busy and successful month for our C-IN team, starting with the ESDR 2024 event and packed with many conferences around the world. Here’s a recap and #highlights from our first event of the month!

 

Event: 53rd Annual Meeting

Dates: September 4-7

Destination: Lisbon, Portugal

Venue: Lisbon Congress Center

 

From September 4-7, we organized the 53rd Annual Meeting of the European Society for Dermatological Research (ESDR) in Lisbon, Portugal. Known for its history of exploration, Lisbon provided the perfect setting for a conference focused on pushing the boundaries of investigative dermatology. The program, led by Neil Rajan, featured renowned keynote speakers and dynamic new formats, creating a more interactive and engaging experience.

We organized a scenic run through Lisbon, offering participants a refreshing way to connect outside the sessions.

The conference also upheld ESDR’s commitment to supporting young investigators, offering travel grants to ensure diverse global participation.

Our team, as always, delivered outstanding results, and after the event, we took some well-deserved time to relax and recharge. A highlight of our downtime included a delightful team lunch at the charming Moinho Dom Quixote, where we enjoyed local cuisine and great company. We also made the most of Portugal’s stunning landscapes, with breathtaking views from Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Europe, offering us a serene moment by the sea. These experiences, both professionally and personally, made our September not only productive but also memorable.
